I will have to check with Storm (publisher), but if it's not there already I suspect they're not planning on doing it in hardback. I will check though.
Just recently read Little Ghosts (loved it, even though I cried reading it on a plane 🙄) so looking forward to The Trap, read The Cove too. Anyway, will be ordering it, just checking it’s not called The Trip, as it’s referred to a couple of times in the email/blog!
Thank you very much. I cried tons when I was writing it, every time I got to the end I wouldn't be able to finish it (it almost got annoying!) That was the effect I was trying for though so it was strangely pleasing as well as emotionally exhausting. And yes, the new book is called The Trap, sorry about that... :-)
The link is still only for a kindle pre-order. I'm a "paperback" reader, so as soon as that's available I will be ordering! I read the original Cove, does reading the new release of it make a difference in Erica's next escapade?
Good question, and not really. We did change the name - she's called Erica Sands now (Storm work with another author who has a character named Stone, and we thought it would get confusing). But the gist of the story is similar, and book two should still make sense. (It's sort of written as a standalone anyway, you could read it without reading The Cove.) Thanks Diane!
Really looking forward to The Trap Gregg. I fully appreciate that you write to an international audience but as an English writer I’m surprised to see your use of the word ‘gotten’ in this update!! Hope your Minorca trip helped your literary juices. All the best, Clive.
Thanks Clive, and good spot. The new book (not The Trap, but the one this post talks about) is actually set in America, so maybe it's leaked into my day to day language. It is a useful word though, I've gotten used to it, you might say. (How would that be in English English? I've got used to it...?)
Then I may have to digress and buy both in paperback…looking to read…haven’t read any of your work yet but you have RAVE reviews!!!!🍾
Ok, I'm happy with that!!! Thank you very much....
Already pre ordered and looking forward to it! I've honestly not read any of your books that I haven't enjoyed; they're all excellent.
Thank you very much Claire, that's really kind of you to say so.
Wish it were available in hardback. Will it be available? Is The Cove available hardback? I would buy both.
ok, I've checked, and it's a 'not yet, maybe in the future though'. Sorry...
